The Welcome page will display a panel for each account you have connected to your Social insurance number (SIN), for example, your My Account, default My Business Account and Represent a Client.

The CRA's online chat service has moved inside My Account where users can now chat with a live agent about account-specific enquiries. To use this service, access My Account and click the chat widget in the bottom right corner of the page.

SR&ED's Self-Assessment and Learning Tool (SALT) was added in My Business Account for RC program accounts. The assessment tool will assist claimants in preparing their project descriptions and expenditures prior to submitting a claim.

You now have limited access to the “View and pay account balance” application. This allows you to make pre-payments to your program account before any transactions are posted to your My Business account.

Optional email notifications are now available in My Business Account. While some email notifications are mandatory to ensure the security of accounts, such as when address or direct deposit information is changed, businesses can choose to receive additional optional notifications for Payments. More optional notifications will be added in the future.

Represent a Client has been updated with a new look and feel. It has been redesigned to make it easier for representatives to securely access tax and benefit information online on behalf of their clients.

In an effort to uphold CRA security measures, the ability to add, remove, or modify authorizations for a Level 3 representative or trustee in My Trust Account and in Represent a Client has been removed, with the exception of trustees of Bare Trusts.
